Good news for all of you who have a Galaxy Note 10.1. Apparently Samsung has began to rolling out the Jelly Bean update for this productivity geared tablet.
According to SamMobile, the update has begun to roll out in Germany. The package is 300 mb and is coming OTA. The key Jelly Bean features that will be coming to the tablet have to be Project Butter and Google Now. These two little features help to take Android device to a new level of fluidity and also ease of use. I’m sure Samsung has thrown in some little features as well. Possibly some of the Note 2 features have made their way to the tablet seeing that the two are nearly identical when it comes to the hardware.
There’s no word on when the update will be hitting the rest of the world, but I imagine that as long as there aren’t any major bugs that pop up in the next few days, the update should hit the rest of the world in the coming months. I’ll be anxiously waiting for mine and I’ll give me impressions once I get it.
