Multiple accounts and Facebook

You first sign in to each account through the settings menu. After that, you can choose which Twitter or Facebook account to post through. Plume also adds a Facebook tab for your newsfeed. The reviewer did not find the tab very appealing, and noted that the home screen widget does not include Facebook updates, so people who need both in a widget would need another app.

Viewing your own profile lets you pick any connected Twitter or Facebook profile. A Facebook profile shows wall posts, friends and likes. Tapping a friend opens their wall, and the same works for Facebook Pages.

Regional trends

You can now see trending topics for your home country, or for another region, including some major cities. Any trending topic can become a new tab. The city list was short at the time.

NFC profile sharing

The update added profile sharing over NFC. The reviewer could not work out how to use it.
