Google’s Play Store now as BIG as the iOS App Store

Yeah…

So despite how big Android’s gotten over the past couple of years, and how much it’s evolved and had developer adoption one of the biggest questions I get when people ask if they should switch over is “do they have any apps?

Nobody’s asked me that about webOS, or Windows8, or any other system… but for Android.  There’s a misconception out there that we don’t have apps.

Well…

That’s my geeky way of saying the sum of apps in both stores are now the same.

700,000 apps.  Unless the app is pretty device specific, pretty much anything you can find in one catalog, you’ll find it’s equal part in the other.
