Google Now Adds New “Take A Picture” And “Record A Video” Commands
Google Now has just update itself and has brought with it a couple of new voice commands. Once you have Google Now listening to you, you can now say “Take a Picture” or “Record a Video” to open up your default camera application. Unfortunately, the command doesn’t actually take a picture or begin recording, it only opens up the app.
While it’s kind of nice to have more voice commands available, the fact that it doesn’t automatically take the shot or begin recording makes it a little useless. Some phones, like my Note 3, have voice command options built into the camera app so I can technically use only my voice to open the app and capture the shot but not all phones have this ability, at least to my knowledge.
Nevertheless, this is another step to becoming more hands free with our devices.
