We were just teased with a new bird for the Angry Bird Seasons, and then we see an update in the regular app.  I assumed it was just going to be the new bird.

Nope.

Power-ups.  They will be available via in-app purchases, and it looks like you may get some by playing everyday.  I noticed on the first game that there was a bit of a slot machine rolling… I’m wondering if that’s for an extra bonus every day.  I’ll check again tomorrow.

In the meantime, go get your update – you’ll get a freebie today.  As well.

No new levels, but you now have a ‘shop’ where you can buy combo/bundles of power ups or batches of power ups.

You now get to have:

• Supersize birds (bigger = more damage)
• King Sling (faster = more damage)
• Laser Scope (precision = better damage)
• Earthquake (more damage all around)

If  you haven’t got Angry Birds yet, then you must not like fun.
