Telus To Carry Galaxy Camera

Android is making its way to more and more pockets and homes via phones and tablets.  But Android will be coming to you another way soon enough, via the Galaxy Camera.  We’ve already shared about the Galaxy Camera.  It’s an Android powered camera made by Samsung that pairs killer specs, a killer lens, and killer software to create one super powered camera.

Well according to a tip over on MobileSyrup it looks like Telus will be carrying this product in the near future.  Why would a carrier be launching a phone you ask?  Well because the camera is 3G enabled.  That means you can shoot and upload on the go to all your favourite social networking sites.  Seems like a great idea but we’ll have to see what the price is like.

I’m also really interested to see what kind of data plans Telus will attach with this camera.  The big advantage of a 3G enabled camera is the ability to automatically upload pictures but as you all know pictures are large-ish files and without a substantial data plan you could be running into some pretty intense overages.

How many of you would be interested in picking one of these up?
