Nexus 7 Dock Coming To US In January, How About Canada?

Nexus 7 docking station going on sale this month for $40

The Nexus 7 is still one hot selling tablet and there’s good reason for it.  It’s one of the best 7 inchers on the market when you compare the spec sheet.  In addition, being a Nexus device it offers the latest and greatest from Google at all times.

One thing that has been a little bit lacking for this beauty though is accessories, particularly official accessories.  Cases took forever to become available in North America and especially here in Canada.  Now we’re all waiting for the official dock from Google and Asus.

The dock looks very sleek and very minimal which I love.  It also include a micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack so you can charge your tablet and connect it to your favourite speakers to create a little media centre.

The good news today is that it seems our friends south of the border have a semi-official date.  The dock has been found in several different retail websites and one of those retailers, B&H has it expected to launch January 16.  So if you’re really desperate I supposed you could order it through a US retailer that hopefully ships to Canada.  But the fact that there’s a date makes me hopeful that Canada will be launching this as well soon enough.
