Over the last few years the Big 3 Carriers in Canada (Rogers, Bell, and Telus) have been met with some competition from new entrants WIND and Mobilicity. While WIND and Mobilicity are still reserved for select markets, they are slowly establishing themselves as legitimate alternatives. And the biggest reason they are able to compete is with great plans, such as these new leaked ones from WiND.
MobileSyrup was tipped off that WIND will be doing away with their current two plans and introducing three new plans to the market. Here’s the details of them below:
$20 per month:

– Unlimited WIND-to-WIND Canada-wide calling
– Unlimited Texts within Canada
– Call Control included (Missed Call alerts, Conference calling, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting))
– Data: $5/100MB up to a max of $25/month
– Extras such as Voicemail are $8/month, Unlimited US calling and texting is $10/month

$30 per month:
– Unlimited province-wide calling
– Unlimited WIND-to-WIND Canada-wide calling
– Unlimited Texts/Picture/Video within Canada
– Call Control included (Missed Call alerts, Conference calling, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting))
– Unlimited Data
– Extras such as Voicemail are $8/month, Unlimited US calling and texting is $10/month

$40 per month:
– Unlimited Canada-wide calling
– Unlimited WIND-to-WIND Canada-wide calling
– Unlimited Texts/Picture/Video International, US and Canada

– World Saver is included
– Extras such as Voicemail are $8/month, Unlimited US calling and texting is $10/month

Those are all fantastic plans and none of the Big 3 have anything to really compare to them right now. Of course the Big 3 all have their sub brands to offer lower costs plans but even those can’t match up with these offerings. Now, I know that the coverage for WIND is still pretty spotty but with great plans like these it’s definitely worth a consideration.
