Samsung Will Bring The Gear S To Canada Beginning November 14

Good news for all you wearable fans out there as the first 3G enabled Smart Watch will soon be hitting Canadian stores.  Samsung Canada announced today that the Samsung Gear S will be available for purchase in stores beginning tomorrow November 14!  The cost for the watch is pretty hefty at $399.99 but when you consider that this is a 3G capable device, the price becomes a little bit more palatable…a little bit.

The Gear S will first be available at Samsung branded stores while additional retailers and even carriers will begin to receive the device later this month.  A full list of the specs for this unique device are listed below.

I’m not too sure about the necessity of a standalone smart watch but I’m sure there will be some out there who will try and replace their phone with a watch like this.  What do you guys think?  Would you ditch your phone for a watch?  Or are we still a little ways away from ditching our smartphones?
