Regional carrier Videotron was the very first Canadian carrier to add the Nexus 4 to its line up. While this was great news for the most part, the price wasn’t so nice. They were asking for $150 on a 3-year contract and $500 without a contract. While those prices aren’t terrible when you compare them to other flagships, it’s quite a premium when you compare it to the Google Play Store. Then Fido came out and released the phone for just $100 on a 2-year contract and $425 outright.
Well Videotron has kind of responded and dropped their 3-year term price down to just $100. Again, this is a great price for a great phone. But when you compare it to other vendors and the Google Play Store itself, it’s still a steep price.
