How it started
Videotron was the first Canadian carrier to offer the Nexus 4. At launch it asked for $150 on a three-year contract and $500 without a contract. Those numbers were not terrible next to other flagships, but they were a premium over the Google Play Store.
Fido’s offer
Fido then released the phone for $100 on a two-year contract and $425 outright. That put pressure on Videotron.
