So, I’m not a one of those guys who roots his phone. [still a little gun-shy when I couldn’t get my magic to work]
But, it’s one of the things I love about the Android scene. There’s plenty of active people out there trying to make the phones more useful to all of us. [hey, trying to decide what to do with my wife’s ACER liquid E – any ideas?]
So I’ll admit when I saw this post first over at our friends over at AndroidCentral, I wasn’t that excited, however, looking it over it gives me hope. TeamWin Recovery Project has almost reached 2.0 for all phones [the article talks mostly about honeycomb, and being usable for all phones soon].
That a recovery image can be that easy and user friendly to use gives me a little more courage in wanting to venture into the ‘rooting zone’.
I’ll leave all the technical detail for AndroidCentral guys to talk about; as I haven’t had much experience. However, this project looks very promising.
[oh, and I apologize if my posts lately look a little ‘texty’ as WordPress hasn’t been cooperating and all the formatting has disappeared – so I’m doing this by HTML]
Oh, and here’s my shameless plug for more space!
