Rovio’s Angry Birds Space HD – Buy or Bust? [Poll]

Rovio’s Angry Birds Space delivered a very capturing twist to an already extremely popular series of mobile gaming. I personally got lost for a couple hours and had to show all my little cousins this new game they could play. Best of all, it didn’t cost their parents a dime. Needless to say, my weekend was filled with laughter as we flung birds together through space and time.

However, I stumbled across an interesting twist as well. Rovio also released a ‘HD’ version which sells for $2.99 a pop. Angry Birds Space HD is an ad-free version, but would also leads people to believe it will deliver a greater detail for devices with larger screens. Sad to say, it appears it’s not being received to well. Across some forums as well as the comments on the Google Play Store, people are starting to notice that this might not be as ‘HD’ as initially thought.

The most common complaints I read were:

Being a non-tablet user, I personally have no investigated this for myself, but there are more than enough people to show that this is concern for many.

It’s no doubt that ad banners within Angry birds are a little troublesome at times, but can you justify $2.99 for an ad-free version if the accusations are true and there are no graphical changes?

Angry Birds Space HD – Buy or Bust?

I personally love this amazing twist to Angry Birds, but I’m a rooted users. With the app called “adfree” I have not seen an ad yet.

That being said. If you are a rooted user and block ads as well, please consider at least sharing word of this great game to some of your friends or social networks. Developers, websites, even us here at Android in Canada rely on the community to view and support us with the use of banners and advertisements. Without these we cannot pay our servers, and cannot keep our blog alive. Share the word, support our devs for a greater future of app development.
