Snapdragon 805 Powered LG G3 Due In July Says New Rumour

As we all know, “Prime” or “Premium” versions of flagship phones are all the rage these days and according to a new rumour, we’re once again hearing that LG is planning to join in on the fun.  According to a report out of the Korean media, LG is working on a LG G3 that will be powered by the ulra powerful Snapdragon 805 processor.  In addition to the new processor, the device will also utilize Qualcomm’s MDM9635 modem which is theoretically capable of achieving download speeds of 225 Mbps.

Aside from those two upgrades, however, the device will be exactly the same as the original.  The report goes on to say that this new premium G3 could launch as early as July.  Seems a little far fetched to me given that the original G3 hasn’t received an international launch yet but anything is possible in these crazy days of technology.
