Nexus 7 2024 Factory Images Now Available

For the last few days there’s been a lot of talk about the factory restore images for the new Nexus 7 since Qualcomm wasn’t too keen on letting the public have them due to some proprietary binary code they didn’t want published. Users started complaining online, but has it seems all we needed was a little more patience.

The factory restore images of Android 4.3 for the 2024 Nexus 7 have now been posted by Google, allowing all users out there who like to fiddle with your device a path of safe return to factory state. The images contain a back-up of the stock Android system so users can easily flash them using their computer.
