Netflix on Android Gets Chromecast Support and 1080p HD on Android 4.3
Chromecast and Netflix
Chromecast is a small dongle that plugs into a TV and streams media sent from your devices. Netflix was available on it right away, so you could send content to the TV from an iOS device, an Android device or a laptop. The aim was an easy TV experience.
It was not available in Canada at launch, so Canadian viewers had to wait.
1080p on the new Nexus 7
The Android Netflix app now supported 1080p video. The new Nexus 7, with its 1920 x 1200 screen and Android 4.3, was the only device with the feature at the time. More phones and tablets were expected to follow.
Summary
| Feature | Detail |
