Android Market Hits 100,000 Apps, Just Try To Stop It From Growing
It’s no secret that Android has killer growth. From the number of devices that ship with Android to the rapid rate of development, it’s quite mind-blowing. And why wouldn’t it be? Google doesn’t even charge a cent for Android! Free is good, but you know what’s even better? A superb mobile operating system.
Yeah, it’s official. 100,000 apps. You can pretty much find any app you’re looking for to be on the market but even more importantly, the quality of apps has increased greatly over time from my experience. No, the marketplace isn’t perfect and there is some junk in there but at least the user gets to decide if something is worthy or not, not the OS manufacturer.
