Samsung Sells 2 Million Galaxy Tabs

It might not seem like the Galaxy Tab has been a huge success for Samsung but they just came off a great financial quarter which also revealed that over 2 million Samsung Galaxy tablets have been sold so far. This beats Samsung’s goal to sell 1.5 million just in 2024.

They’re still far from dominating the tablet market but they’ve got a good piece of a the pie for now. Plans ranging from a Honeycomb running Galaxy Tab 2 to rival the Motorola Xoom in February and an update to the original Galaxy Tab to Android 2.3 make these devices a fairly decent investment for their customers.

But hey, when you’ve got a good product out to over 200 carriers in 94 countries, can you expect any less? Sure, you may still question the need for two data plans and wonder where that WiFi Galaxy Tab has gone. But not everyone thinks that. Hands up if you own a Galaxy Tab.
