LG is continuing its return to the tablet market with the global rollout of their LG G Pad 10.1. First lets cover the specs for the slate:
- 10.1″ IPS Display with 1280×800 Resolution
- 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 Processor
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB Internal Storage
- microSD Card Slot
- 5MP Camera
- 1.3MP Front Facing Camera
- 8000 mah Battery
- Android 4.4.2
While the specs aren’t the best out there, they’re decent and match up pretty well with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 4. One nice surprise with the LG G Pad 10.1 is that it will come packed with many of the software features that debuted on the LG G3. Features like Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shore for Selfies, Dual Window and Knock Code will all come on board the G Pad 10.1.
The device will first hit the USA and will rollout to other regions after that later this month. Pricing wasn’t announced in the press release but it’ll likely be similarly priced to the Galaxy Tab 4 which costs about $350.
