HTC Tablet And Wearable Reconfirmed!
It was an exciting week for HTC fans as the new HTC One (M8) was finally announced a couple of days ago. As exciting as the M8 launch was (or maybe not so exciting due to all the leaks!) there’s still so much more to be excited about (or at the very least, that I’m excited about!). In a recent interview with China Post, HTC CEO, Peter Chou, reconfirmed that HTC is working on both a new tablet and a wearable device.
The tablet is rumoured to be a Nexus tablet (either 8″ or 10″) and the wearable is likely the “Google Now Watch” we heard of previously. That “Google Now” watch is undoubtedly some smartwatch running the recently announced Android Wear. While tablets and watches are coming to market all over the place, I’m especially excited to see what HTC does with both.
I have always absolutely loved HTC’s designs and I feel like they could really separate themselves with some innovative and unique designs for the tablet and watch. In terms of a new smartwatch, the Moto 360 really has my attention right now but I could easily see HTC coming along and swaying me in their direction. Can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves!
