Asus Transformer ICS Update: Asus Says It Is Coming Soon
What was said
After Google showed off ICS, owners of the Transformer wondered when their tablet would get it. Asus answered with a brief message suggesting the update could arrive soon. It gave no specific date and no list of changes.
Why owners cared
ICS was the first version meant to bring phones and tablets together under one design, which made it a big update for tablet users. The writer of the original post was a long-time Eee fan who owned three netbooks and the Transformer, and mentioned that the tablet had just gained an official Netflix app.
What was still unknown
- The exact release date.
- Which features would reach the tablet at launch.
- Whether every region would receive it at the same time.
Status today
The tablet is old hardware and is no longer supported with current Android releases.
