Rumour: Google Giving Away The LG G Watch To I/O Attendees!
If you happen to be one of those lucky duckies who’s checking out Google I/O this year then we have some potentially great news for you! According to a source who spoke with Android Authority, Google will be giving away the hotly anticipated LG G Watch to all attendees! Android Wear is expected to be one of the focal points at I/O this year and the G Watch is said to be reference device for developers.
The Moto 360 is also expected to make an appearance at I/O but from the sounds of it those aren’t going to be handed out. Rumours are that Motorola is already having some difficulty manufacturing their watch so they probably want to keep as many as they can on hand for their actual launch.
One last tidbit of Android Wear/ I/O news. Rumour has it that at least one other manufacturer is expected to show off some sort of Android Wear device at Google I/O. There are a lot of manufacturers that have shown an interest in diving into wearables so we’ll have to wait and see who else joins the party at I/O.
