It has been speculated for some time that HTC is developing an Android Wear device. Furthermore, a video from some time ago appeared to show a prototype watch. Nevertheless, no product has yet been released onto the market. However, a new rumor suggests that HTC is still developing a watch. In contrast to the prototype observed previously, this device will reportedly feature a circular face.
The device is currently being developed under the codename “Halfbeak,” and according to the source, the resolution of the device will be 360 x 360. Unfortunately, we lack further information at this time. However, it is encouraging to note that HTC is continuing to expand its product line despite ongoing financial challenges.
Given that HTC continues to manufacture a number of impressive devices, it will be intriguing to observe the company’s contributions to the Android Wear domain. It is reasonable to posit that the device will be aesthetically superior to its namesake, the Halfbeak, which is pictured above.
