Man I’m getting really excited about HTC again.  Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been hearing all sorts of news from the Taiwanese company including a possible Nexus tablet, an excellent new customer service initiative, a very intriguing new flagship device with a very unique (possibly incredibly innovative) camera, and possible wearable devices.  Speaking of those wearable, Bloomberg has published a report today detailing what those wearable devices may be.

According to the report, HTC may show off (likely unofficially) up to three wearable devices at MWC next week.  One device will be “an electronic bracelet that plays music” while the other two will be smartwatches.  The first smartwatch is said to be based on the Qualcomm Toq while the other smartwatch is said to utilize/showcase Google Now.

That second watch sounds really interesting to me.  First of all, I think that the Google Now cards would work tremendously well on a smartwatch and Google’s voice search is one of the best on the market in my opinion.  Secondly, there have been rumours of Google putting together some sort of Nexus smartwatch in the past and since it’s rumoured that HTC is already working with the search giant on the new Nexus 10, it wouldn’t be a complete stretch to think they could also be partnering on a watch!

Of course, take this all with a grain of salt but hopefully we’ll gather some more details next week as the big tech event kicks off.
