Asus To Launch A Super Slim Low Cost Smart Watch This September
Asus has always been a company that I’ve been quite fond of. Not only do they come up with some extremely innovative and sometimes wacky ideas, but they are big in packaging value and performance into all of their products. According to a new report, that legendary Asus value and performance will soon be taking the form of an Android Wear watch and I couldn’t be more excited.
According to a “source familiar with the company’s plans” who spoke to TechCrunch, Asus will be bringing their very first Android Wear smart watch to market this September. The source states that it will feature an AMOLED display and a price point well below the current offerings. The price could come in between $100-$150 which would simply be amazing.
In addition to this source, evleaks also had some information to pass on regarding the watch. According to the popular leakster, the codename for the device is Robin (I like it!) and it “aims to be the thinnest device in the category.” Sounds very promising indeed. I might just have to hold off on the Moto 360 till I get a peak at this guy.
