The two new Sony flagship devices have a lot of people, myself included, excited. Both devices look great and they’re packed to the brim with goodies that will make it a contender against any other phone. Sony Canada made in known that the Sony Xperia ZL would be making its way to Canada but no carrier information or pricing was made available.
Well today we may have our first bit of information as to which carrier will be getting the phone this year. MobileSyrup has come across some screen shots from a Sony Xperia ZL. As you can see in the pictures below, the device is definitely running on Bell’s LTE network and it’s full of all that “wonderful” Bell bloat ware.
Another little interesting tidbit that surfaced with this leak is that the Sony Xperia ZL may have its bootloader unlocked or at the very least, will have an unlockable bootloader. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony allows for the bootloader to be unlocked as they have been very pro developer over the past year and a bit.
If this phone does indeed make its way to Bell you can expect regional carriers SaskTel and MTS as their line ups often follow that of Bell. Now all we need is some pricing and a release date!
