Just a couple of days ago LG showed off some cases for their, then, unannounced LG Vu 3. Well today the device to accompany those cases has officially been announced and it’s more or less everything everyone expected it to be. Here’s the spec rundown:
- 5.2″ 1280×960 Resolution Display (4:3 Aspect Ratio)
- 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Processor
- Adreno 330 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 13MP Camera
- 2.1MP Front Facing Camera
- Android 4.2.2
On paper it’s definitely a solid looking device but that 4:3 screen really hasn’t caught on at all. The Vu 3 does come with a built in stylus, which is a plus, and some of the nice software features found in the G2, such as Knock On and Guest Mode, will also make their way onto the Vu 3. And of course you can get that nifty Quick-View cover to pair with your device. Apparently there will be seven different animations that you can select from that will show through the translucent cover.
The device is set to be released in Korea on September 27. A larger release has not been mentioned at this point but I wouldn’t hold your breath as this device has yet to garner a larger following.
