The LG G2 is a phone that I’m very excited to get my hands on. Not only does it have the hardware to compete with the best of them but it has a very unique design as well. Instead of having the power and volume buttons on the sides of the device, LG has moved them all to the back on the G2.
With the phone just 10 days away from launch we still haven’t received any official pricing from any of the carriers. Well earlier today, Sasktel accidentally made their LG G2 page live which revealed all the pricing details for the phone on the regional carrier. To purchase the device outright, you’ll need to throw down 600 of your hard earned dollars. If you opt for a 2-Year contract (SaskTel has officially done away with 3-Yaer terms) you’ll need $180.
To put this in perspective a little bit, the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 costs $700 outright while the HTC One comes in at $650. On contract, the S4 currently costs $180 and the iPhone 5 and HTC One costs $150. Given that the LG G2 has newer hardware than all of those phones, the price is pretty nice.
As we hear pricing from other carriers we’ll be sure to update you guys but it’ll likely be similar to what SaskTel has listed.
