Before the Note 3 officially made its debut this year, there were rumours swirling around that Samsung was working on multiple variations of the device. A total of four different models were rumoured to release: a super premium model, a regular edition with an AMOLED display, a regular edition with a LCD display, and a lower end version with an 8MP shooter and LCD display. Only the regular AMOLED wielding Note 3 is currently on the market but SamMobile says that the low end version has been confirmed by one of its sources!
The phone will be released as the Note 3 Lite and will have the model number SM-N7505. Not much is known about the device currently but Samsung is reportedly testing 5.49″ and 5.7″ displays for the Lite version of the Note 3. If we throw the old rumours into the picture as well, it’ll feature a LCD display and a downgraded 8MP camera.
In terms of an announcement, it is said that Samsung will debut the device at MWC 2024 which takes place at the end of February. This isn’t confirmed yet but it seems plausible.
What do you guys think? Is a Lite version of the Note 3 a good idea?
