We’re one week away from September 4th, and one week from a load of announcements, one of which will be the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note III. Recently, rumours have been flying in telling us all there is to know about the upcoming device, but they’re still contradictory regarding screen size.
Today we have the confirmation on the screen size, thanks to eTradeSupply, who got their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note III display assembly. They measured it with precision and concluded the screen has a diagonal of approximately 5.68-inches. The shape of the corners is different from the Galaxy Note 2 and resembles the Galaxy S4. The bezel, an important design feature these days, has also shrunk considerably and is now only 2.2mm, which is actually less than what we get in the G2. The display is also very thin with the total assembly measuring 1.8mm thick.
This news should put an end to the screen size debate, but since we’re a few days from the official unveil we’ll be able to hear it all from Samsung. What do you think of the display? Are the bezels slim enough? Leave your thoughts on the comment section and check the full gallery below.
