Rumour: No New Nexus This Year At I/O
The definite highlight of Google I/O each year is the new devices. We almost always see a new phone at the event and this year we’re also expecting to see a new Nexus 7, Google Glass and whatever other goodies Google’s got in store. For a long time, many were speculating that the phone would that would debut would be either the Motorola X or possibly a new Nexus made by LG. However, the latest rumours state that there will be no new phone to be seen this year. Instead, it’ll be a refreshed Nexus 4 that will debut at the event.
What new things can we expect with the refreshed Nexus 4? Not a lot honestly. The rumoured refreshed Nexus 4 will be identical to the original with the exception of official LTE support and 32GB of internal storage. On the one hand this is terribly disappointing news as I was really looking forward to seeing the next Nexus device. However, the Nexus 4 is already a great phone and these pair of additions/modifications really remedies all the concerns people had about the device initially.
What do you guys think? Would a refreshed Nexus 4 grab your money?
