Earlier this week Google surprised us and announced Android OS 4.4 ‘Kit Kat’ as the next update in the pipeline. As we all know, with a big update comes a Nexus launch, and in the promo video of the ‘Kit Kat’ ceremonial statue we caught a glimpse of what the next Nexus device might look like.
Tonight, we get more evidence that the device we saw on the video could really be the Nexus 5. A doc surfaced on the FCC’s website that lists the specs and shows a few pictures of the LG D820. The pictures show the back cover of said device, and the positioning and size of the camera hole look incredibly similar to the device we saw on the video. In addition, similar to the past Nexus smartphones, the mysterious LG device features NFC and Qi wireless charging.
Even more interesting is that the leaked device will support pentaband, which will include LTE connectivity. You can check the pictures for yourself below and let us know in the comments if you think this might be the Nexus 5.
