The Oppo N1 is a phone that the average consumer has probably never heard of but the device is receiving a lot of attention from techies around the web. The phone features a massive 5.9″ 1080P display, is powered by a Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM, and a massive 3610mAh battery should keep this guy chugging all day long. What makes this phone interesting is a 13MP camera that can rotate 206 degrees and a touch panel integrated on the back of the device. What makes this device even more interesting for tech enthusiasts is that Oppo has partnered with CyanogenMod Inc which will allow the buyer to choose between Oppo’s customized version of Android or pure AOSP Android via CyanogenMod.
Often times these Chinese tech companies keep their products in Asia but Oppo has been known to look towards the larger audience and it appears that’s what they’ll be doing with the N1. The device is set to launch in China at the end of the month and according to a slide from the CyanogenMod team, a broader release will follow at the end of November.
We’ll keep an eye on this news as I’m sure there’s some of you out there who might be interested in this nifty device.
