OnePlus One Will Now Be Available Without Invites Every Tuesday

The OnePlus One has been one of the most interesting Android smartphones to date, as it came with top of the line specs with midrange prices, albeit requiring the dreaded invite. However, that has started to change with the company’s most recent announcement.

OnePlus has announced that it will allow anyone in countries where the phone is sold to purchase both the $299 16GB version and the $349 64GB version without an invite. The catch? It must be a Tuesday. The company has tweaked their production schedules in order to make this happen and the sale starts as early as midnight tonight Pacific Standard Time or 3AM EST.

For us Canadians, this may not be as good of a deal than it was last year due to the weaker dollar, but it’s still a good deal nonetheless. The successor to the OnePlus One is rumoured to be coming in Q2/Q3 of this year.
