In addition to the tablet that leaked through benchmarks, a new HTC phone has also popped up.
A device with a codename of PM63100 showed up on GPLBenchmark. Not only does it show up on the benchmark, but it outperforms HTC’s current flagship, the HTC One X, both the American (S4)and International (Tegra 3) version.
It’s supposedly running Android 4.0 ICS but we can only hope that if/when this device releases it’ll run with 4.1 JellyBean. It’ll also be interesting to see the next iteration of Sense for JellyBean. Maybe JellyBean can help out with some of that lag that Sense tends to inflict on it’s devices.
It seems like HTC is sticking to their statement of focusing on higher end devices. I’m excited and hopeful for their next line up as the One series hasn’t quite picked up the traction HTC expected. I’d hate to see them disappear from the Android community, so here’s to hoping that they really wow us with their next line up.
