Motorola Quench Pre-Launch Prices Revealed?

Last week, Best Buy opened pre-orders for the Motorola Quench which is the third Motorola device with MOTOBLUR coming to the Canadian wireless carriers. The Dext and Backflip, which have already been announced in Canada from Bell and Telus respectively, are the other two of three new social media Android devices coming from Motorola.

The Motorola Quench will launch with Android 1.5, with a possibility of receiving the Android 2.1 update. The device also includes a touchscreen display with pinch and zoom finger controls.

At the time of pre-order for the Quench, pricing details were unavailable but new reports have surfaced that point to both an outright price and promotional price on a 3-year agreement. Early rumors have placed the outright price to be $424.99 and a promotional 3-year agreement price of $49.99.

However release date details are still scarce, so aside from pre-ordering at Best Buy, launch news is to be announced.
