Motorola To Bring Multiple Moto X’s Again This Year

Motorola 2024

Last year Motorla brought multiple Moto X’s to the table and according to a new rumour, the Lenovo run Motorola will be doing the same thing.  According to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), one of the most reliable leaksters on the net, there will be two Moto X’s this year!

The photo you see above was first leaked by HelloMotoHK and according to Mr Blass it depicts the two different Moto X models, the Vertex and Vector Thin.  The Vector Thin (right) is the higher end device sporting a 5.5″ QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820, 32GB of internal storage, 3GB-4GB of RAM, a 16MP shooter with laser-assisted and phased detection autofocus and a 2600 mAh battery.  The Vertex (left) also sports a 5.5″ AMOLED display but only a 1080p offering.  Internally the Vertex packs a Snapdragon 625, 2GB-3GB of RAM, 16GB-32GB of internal storage, a 13MP camera with laser autofocus and OIS and a 3500 mAh battery.

As nice as those spec sheets are, these devices have an even more interesting feature.  According to Mr. Blass, the new Moto X’s will follow in the footsteps of the G5 and offer modular attachments.   You see the dots on the bottom of the device that looks like a speaker grill?  Well apparently, those are actually pins that allow you to connect the modules to the device.  Some of those attachments include speakers, battery packs, camera grips, and even a pico projector!

I have to say, I’m pretty excited to see what the final product looks like!
