Moto X Officially Unveiled On The 1st Of August

There have been lots of rumors about the new Moto X phone. Google CEO Eric Schmidt accidentally revealed some details about it

The Moto X is a smartphone that was unveiled on August 1, 2024. It was the first phone developed by Motorola after Google acquired it. Key features include:

  • 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display
  • Customizable design through Moto Maker
  • Voice recognition and touchless control
  • Active Notifications for quick information access
  • 10-megapixel rear camera
  • Assembled in the United States for American customers

The Moto X aimed to provide a balanced user experience with practical features and innovative software enhancements.

Rumours and more rumours have surrounded the upcoming Moto X device, but apart from the exterior design, which Google CEO Eric Schmidt so inadvertently exposed, and the software revealed on a Roger’s video, there’s not much confirmation on what to expect of this device and even the unveiling date was a completely mistery. First Da Vinci’s code fans predicted an 11th of July release, then we expected it to come out on Google’s event next week, but today we have confirmation that the unveiling will actually take place in New York City on the 1st of August.

The Motorola Moto X is expected to be heavily customizable and while some customization options seem far-fetched this should be a big selling point if proven true. The device should also feature a wide range of sensors and always on voice commands that will make sure the phone feels your presence and does whatever you want when you want it.

Hardware wise there’s no certainty on what to expect, but you can find the rumoured specs here. The device should be available exclusively on Roger’s network.

As the official unveiling approaches and the end of all rumors draws near, we invite you to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
