Looks like we’ve got an official release date for the upcoming super low cost offering from Motorola, the Moto G. According to an leaked internal doc from Telus, the new phone is slated to launch on November 22, 2024. Again, the phone is expected to cost $200 outright or $0 on a new 2-year contract. In case you’re wondering about the specs, here they are:
- 4.5″ 720p LCD Display
- 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 Processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB Internal Storage
- 5MP Camera
- 1.3MP Front Facing Camera
- 2070mAh Battery
- Android 4.3
Although this phones looks a lot like the Moto X, it lacks some of the key features of the Moto X, namely Active Notifications and Touchless Controls. Nevertheless, it’s still one of the best bang for buck devices of all time and I’m sure it’ll entice a good number of buyers with that low price tag.
Any of you thinking of picking one up?
