After an endless stream of rumours and leaks, the Meizu MX4 Pro has officially been announced by the company. Here’s what Meizu’s Pro model of their flagship packs:

- 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Internal Storage
- 3GB RAM
- 20.7MP Sony IMX220 Exmor RS Camera
- 5MP Front Facing Camera
- 3350 mAh Battery
- Fingerprint Reader, Hi-Fi Sound
- Android 4.4.4 with Flyme 4.0
- Available in Grey, Gold and Silver
It’s a pretty impressive spec sheet although it would have been nice to see this guy launch with Android 5.0 as opposed to the older Android 4.4.4. Hopefully they come out with an update in a timely manner. In terms of pricing, the Mx4 Pro will start at 2499 Yuan which translates to about $460 CAD. Not too bad considering all the goodies this phone packs. The MX4 Pro will begin its launch in Asia but, like many of the top end Chinese tech companies, they may look to broaden their reach and launch this internationally down the road. No clear details were given but we’ll keep an eye on it.
