Good news to all you Note 4 fans out there as we’re another step closer to getting that tasty treat known as Lollipop onto our devices. Earlier today Samsung began rolling out the update to their flagship phablet in Poland. Although that’s an ocean away from us it’s still a step in the right direction.
According to the guys over on SamMobile, the update is based on the slightly older Android 5.0.1 as opposed to the latest version. Nevertheless, they say that things are faster, battery life is better, and the look and feel of TouchWiz is “really good compared to what you get on KitKat.”
We still don’t have a firm timeline as to when we’ll get it here in Canada but it looks like things are progressing well so hopefully it won’t be too much longer.
