Rumours about LG’s second flagship for 2024 have been flying around for the last few months. Now the Korean company all but confirmed the phone is coming by sharing a press invite for an event scheduled on August 31 in Berlin – a day before IFA 2024 kick starts.
The invite is tall and narrow which immediately makes as think of the 18:9 aspect ratio of the LG G6. It also features rounded corners and the silhouette of a phone making the reflection of a V also hints we’re looking at the press invite for the V30 unveiling.
If the most recent leaks are correct, the V30 won’t include a secondary display like its soon to be predecessor the V20. It seems like LG is playing it safe this year.
But the phone will probably feature a design similar to the LG G6 which is very good news. It’s also going to be the first LG phone to include a Snapdragon 835 processor onboard. Other rumored specs include 4GB of RAM and Android 8.0 out of the box. We expect the phone to include a dual camera setup, although we are merely guessing here.
As we approach the LG V30’s launch date, more information about the phone is going to be revealed.
