LG Shows Off Note Edge Like Device At CES Behind Closed Doors

LG Edge Device

LG showed off not just one, but two flexible screen devices at CES this year.  The first device, the LG G Flex 2, got an official unveiling while the second device, which has no name currently, was shown off behind closed doors.

While the LG G Flex 2 features a curved display, the mysterious LG prototype features two edge displays, much like the Galaxy Note Edge.  Unlike the Note Edge, however, there are two (yes TWO!) “Edge” screens that are found on either side of the primary screen.  The resolution of the screen was a little underwhelming by today’s standards at just 720×1280, however, I believe this is more of a proof of concept than an actual device that LG plans on bringing to market.

So what devices will actually get this new screen technology?  Nobody knows for sure at this point but with rumours of a Galaxy S6 Edge on the way, it wouldn’t be out of the question for LG to answer with their own G4 Edge.
