The LG Optimus G has been leaked again and again and again over the last week or two. It’s been leaked to the point that there was really nothing left to wait for other than the phone itself. Well, just to make all those rumours and leaks official, LG has finally announced their new flagship device, just ahead of IFA.
We knew this phone was going to be a beast and here’s the official specs:
- 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS+ (1280×768 resolution and 320ppi)
- 1.5GHz Quad-Core processor
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 13MP rear-facing camera
- 1.3MP front-facing camera
- 2,100 mAh battery
- DLNA, NFC, Wi-Fi.
- Dimensions: 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.45mm
- Weight: 145 grams.
- Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
At the moment, this device tops anything out there. Whether you love or hate LG, they’ve put together one stellar device. There’s no word on a global launch as of yet, but I imagine they’ll drop some hints or details at IFA. The device will launch in Korea sometime in September though so if you’re a really eager person, you can probably get ahold of an international version before we see anything here in Canada.
