LG May Be Readying A G2 Mini
Looks like LG is getting ready to join the Mini party as a new rumour is claiming that LG is readying a G2 Mini. The report comes courtesy of Techblog.gr who got the information from one of their sources. According to their source, the device will not be watered down like other Mini devices (yes, we’re looking at you S4 Mini and HTC One Mini) but will look to offer the same premium hardware that the larger sibling offers but in a more compact package.
The screen size for the LG G2 Mini is said to be 4.7″ and while that definitely sounds like a fairly large display(and it is), the design should help keep things compact. The original G2 design has a pretty minute bezel so you would expect the same with a G2 Mini. That means we could probably have a 4.7″ display in a phone not much bigger than the S4 Mini, which features a 4.3″ display.
Other rumoured specs include the same Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM that we see on the original larger sibling. The screen is also rumoured to keep the same 1080p resolution which would make this screen ultra crisp.
If the device is indeed real, the expectation is that it will make its official appearance at CES 2024 in January.
