LG has had its struggles in carving a space in a very crowded Android market. But they definitely haven’t given up. Their last few devices have looked promising. The Optimus 4x looks to be a strong contender, and the amped up Optimus Vu was definitely the right decision.
Well another high-end device could be coming down, one that could rival the amazing Galaxy S III. There’s a rumour going around the web that LG has a device named the Optimus G in the works. The device is a beast. It features a 4.7″ TrueHD IPS disaply, a quad core processor (Tegra 3+ or Quad-Core Snapdragon), 2GB Ram, 13MP Camera, and will run ICS (Jelly Bean would be preferred of course). In terms of the styling, it’s supposed to take it’s cues from the recent L series of devices: sleek and streamline.
Again, this is a rumour, so take it for what it is. But IFA is just around the corner and if this is a real device, that’s likely where we’ll be seeing it first.
