LG Giving 4000 People An Opportunity To Test Drive The G4
As much as we techies are enamoured by high end specs and bleeding edge hardware, the smartphone market is won with good marketing, good customer service, and a great customer experience. Apple and Samsung have shone in these regards and that is the reason they’ve maintained their perch atop of the mobile tech world. LG, a company gunning to knock off the competition, has really stepped up their marketing and customer service efforts over the past couple of years and their latest announcement is another big step in the right direction.
LG announced today that they will launch a “test drive” program for their upcoming flagship, the LG G4. Weeks before the actual launch of the new device, LG will select 4000 lucky consumers from 15 different countries to participate in the program and yes, Canada is one of the included countries! The release stated that information on how to apply will be made available in the coming days so I’ll be keeping an eye out and will pass on the news once I find it.
While the spots are definitely very limited, this is an awesome way for LG to generate some hype as we inch closer to the official release of the G4. Hopefully LG will treat these testers well and give them a free device at the end of the program as well!
