Last we heard, Samsung was expected to launch their new flagship, the Galaxy S5, in March in London, England. It seemed reasonable enough as Samsung held their S3 unveiling there a couple of years back. However, a new rumour says that New York will be the local for the announcement.
The latest news comes from ZDNet Korea who allegedly received the tip from a senior Samsung official. Although the location differs from previous rumours, the rumoured date (or I suppose month is the more accurate term) remains the same as ZDNet’s tip also has the announcement slated for March.
It is possible that Samsung could be holding two events to showcase their new device but for now that’s just speculation. It does seem though that we will not be seeing this device at MWC in February as some had previously speculated.
