HTC One X Running Sense 4.1 Clears 6000 On Quadrant

Now before we all get too excited I need to clarify that this news is about the international One X, not the version that was released here in Canada.  Now back to the story…

It seems that a leak of the new Sense 4.1 found its way into the hands of the developers over on XDA.  It’s supposed to be an even more paired down version of Sense that will allow for an even speedier  device.  Some of the additions that were found in the leak were:

  • Fixed laggy live wallpapers
  • A dedicated camera switching button in the camera app (front to back)
  • A dedicated tab switching button
  • Removal of 3D Animations

All good things in my opinion.  But one of the more notable things in this build was that it hit 5900+ on Quadrant.

We all know that benchmarks don’t always live up to real life, but they’re usually at least a little bit helpful in gauging a device’s potential.

Now as I said at the beginning, there won’t be many here in Canada that will be able to test out this leak, but the news should still bring a smile to all you One Series users.  It’s only logical to think that if Sense 4.1 can make such improvements on one device, that it will be able to do it to others as well.  So that means that your great HTC One S/X may go from great to phenomenal with the new Sense.

Seems like HTC is finally making sense with Sense…

Yeah… that was bad
