Motorola and Verizon announced the Droid Turbo yesterday, a powerhouse phone that’s got a lot of people wishing they lived in the states so they could pick it up. Well it looks like those of us outside the US of A may not be out of luck after all. Motorola is holding an event in Mexico on November 5 and as Android Authority has pointed out in the above picture, the hidden device on the left picture sure looks like the Droid Turbo which is seen on the right.
Android Authority also points out that a device under the codename Motorola XT 1225 (which features 64GB storage and a 3900 mAh battery) recently passed through Brazil’s telecommunications regulator, Anatel. They also note that Motorola filed for the trademark of the “Moto Maxx” back in July, a name that aptly fits a device with such a massive battery.
Of course, this is a lot of speculation right now but the stars seem to be lining up for a global version of the Driod Turbo.
